Our Vision and Mission

These four values constitute our vision and mission.

The Great Commission is one of the greatest commandments that Jesus has given to his Church (Matt. 28:19). In our message we seek to make Jesus Christ known to every person we encounter in order to communicate God’s love for everybody. Jesus is much more than a historical figure. He is the Saviour of the world who came on the earth to show us God’s love by dying on the Cross for our sins. His love for sinners is at the very core of the Gospel, which we passionately proclaim. An encounter with Jesus radically changed everyone who met Him, no matter how desperate or disoriented in life he or she was.

Every Christian should grow in his walk with God. Jesus Christ himself is our greatest example and we seek to follow him in our daily life. Becoming Christlike in one’s character is one of the greatest goals a Christ follower should strive after in his/her life. We also believe that our ministry should reflect our spiritual identity, so that, “the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:17; 2 Pt 1:3-9). A changed life testifies the best about God’s presence in this world.

Church is also a classroom. There we learn about the message of the Bible, either through listening to sermons and lectures, or through participating in our home Bible study groups. The goal of education is to get acquainted with the basic tenets of our spiritual heritage as found in the God’s Word.

Fellowship has been one of the crucial elements of church life since the beginning. In the early church believers “devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer (Acts 2:42-47). Fellowship is not simply ‘hanging out’ together. It is a work on unity, love and mutual edification (1 Pt 3:8). At the same time it is an effort to submit our own desires to the needs of God’s people. Besides our regular meetings on Sunday, we believe that our home Bible study groups and our special events provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for nurturing fellowship and spiritual growth.
